"Clean room"

"The one pool that is open is very nice although half of the water park is a construction zone and has a sulfur like smell. Not a single lamp worked in my room (no overhead light) and when the door to the room was closed there was about an inch gap between the door and the frame which was kinda creepy as a solo traveling woman. Staff was very friendly and helpful and professional."

"This property was amazing to stay at. It was remote and the staff were amazing. They offer shampoo, conditioner, body wash and not the little tiny bottles. You do have to pay for ice it doesn’t come free like other hotels but they sell bags there. They have the restaurant on property and the office sells things as well. Things to know. They don’t have cell service but they do have WiFi. They don’t have tvs in the room, even radio reception is very spotty. Just so you know it does say your 45 mins to Big Bend but it actually takes longer from the actual lodge to Big Bend. Plan to drive 1-2hrs depending on where you’re planning to drive to Big Bend. Make sure you have plenty of gas. Once you reach into town you will find a grocery store, gas station, and other restaurants and shop. They are pet friendly and we parked right at room. Half of the road and all of the lodge is unpaved. Stars are amazing at night and it’s was so peaceful. If you’re a coffee drinker bring your own maker, there are no microwaves in the rooms, but there is a mini fridge. Pool was beautiful and well maintained. They have pits by the pool if you want to bbq. "

"Great property and staff! Wound up coming in super late with pets, and had no issues getting checked in. The property has a nice little fenced in area for pets to be off leash, and the breakfast was delicious!"

"The breakfast was the best , I loved the bacon and sausage, they had pancakes and an omelette bar and lots of other stuff , they had real plates and I didn’t see any take out so perhaps it’s encouraged to eat in the dining room instead of taking food back to the rooms . The pool looked really nice. They had a small exercise room, but it was sufficient. They had a place for miniature golf for the kids and a big tube system for the kids to play in. The rooms were very clean smelled clean, looked clean. The blankets were thick almost like a weighted blanket, and the bed was so comfortable you just sank in it . The staff was very friendly very helpful. I would definitely stay there again.."
