"Lovely hotel. Fairly inexpensive. Very convenient - short distance from major roads but didn't feel like it. Clean but basic. Looked like it had seen better days - clear signs of people trying hard to keep the place clean and fresh but it had a TV from the 80s and few comforts in the room. The only thing that would put me off staying again is the mattress which was the worst I've ever slept on. My partner weighs around 90kg - he lay down and sank into the bed, causing a massive dip. The accommodation is great, beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are very nice with high quality toiletries provided. The leisure facilities are very good with a large pool and gym plus a steam room and sauna. Many of the people using the facilities were not staying in the hotel and it was quite busy at times.
