Awesome staff, comfortable tooms

Tammy, the assistant inn keeper and restaurant manager was fantastic. She was attentive to every need. The restaurant staff was phenomenal as well highly recommend, it’s a little hidden gem off the beaten path. I will definitely return. Had a fabulous time.

The lock situation on the door to my cabin was concerning. The key was required to lock it from both the inside and the outside (presenting a hazard if I needed to escape quickly), and there was no deadbolt. There was another lock that had a keyhole on both the inside and outside, but my key did not work on it. As a single woman staying on the property entirely alone in the off season, I felt the need to barricade my door each night to ensure nobody could get in, since I couldn't deadbolt it.

The restaurant played music loudly until around midnight the last 2 nights we were there. The manager was apparently entertaining friends after dining hours. When asked to turn it off/down he agreed but only after another 30 minutes. What should have been a romantic quiet few evenings turned out to be no sleep or peace until past midnight. We would suggest looking else where unless you enjoy bass thumping music in your bedroom. It’s a shame that they disregarded their sleep guest who paid about $700 per night.

Very quiet location secluded and peaceful. Location is not identified, no road sign or driveway entrance address. I booked within 3 days of check-in, instructions did not get emailed until after check in time, host did answer phone when called but email was received 30 minutes later. It's a unique place, space is good, lots of amenities to cook and eat. Two bathrooms. Two showers. Lots of hot water and strong water pressure. Most of the unit is updated and modern. However it's tired, worn and dirty. The sofa was covered in dog hair, not just a little bit. It was all over our socks, clothing and floating around. The bathroom shower needed cleaning, walls needed wiping, carpet on stairs all stained and dirty. It you are used to hotels this will disappoint you.
