We stayed at Marriott Sandalwood for 5 nights in a one bedroom apartment. The room is well equipped we specially appreciated the washer and dryer (albeit a little dusty). The staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel is about 10 mins walk from a metro station on Line 1 and 10 mins cab away from Chaoyang Joy City a major mall with so many restaurants. An excellent choice of a hotel especially for families.

Home away from home
This hotel was beautiful with a wonderful staff. I felt very much at home the spacious apartment. We stayed 6 nights and enjoyed the quiet nights and conveniences the property offered. We used taxis mostly to go downtown but finally started using the metro which was a 6 minute walk away to avoid the traffic.

My wife and I stayed for just one day, but it was very relaxing and we were pleased with the place. The room was large and comfortable and the breakfast was good in the morning.

Great apartments and service but location is tough
Loved the rooms. Fully furnished with kitchenette, laundry, luxurious bed and bathroom... loved it. Felt like home. Room service was good and friendly but limited menu. Food was better than average in Beijing hotels. Location was not great, traffic jams!!! Everywhere. Overall loved it but due to location, may not stay there again.

Nice hotel good for longer stay
The apartment was better equipped compared to other similar hotels in Beijing. In particular, it has a separate washer and dryer. Others usually have a combined washing machine, which usually does not work as efficient. The kitchen ware were also adequate, although we did not cook at all. The closets, countertop and tables could be wiped cleaner, but we understand it is tough to keep it squeaky clean given the polluted environment in Beijing. Linens and beddings are very good.

Nice, Quiet but.......
As a Marriott hotel, the room was really nice with lots of rooms. It was very quiet although there is a school next to it. However, I did not the following: 1. When I entered the room the A/C was off and the room was hot (not a big issue) 2. The window was open that allow dust to get in (not a big issue) 3. The facility is great but it needs to be maintained properly. Especially inside the bathrooms 4. Breakfast is basic In general; I would recommed this Hotel

komfortable Apartments am östlichen Stadtran
Die Ausstattung der Apartments ist in Ordnung. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr freundlich. Der Pool ist kalt, aber sauber, der Indoorspielplatz bietet tatsächlich etwas Platz. Das Hotel ist direkt neben einem Park gelegen, in dem man mit Kindern sehr gut spielen kann. Wenn man viel in die Stadt will (zum Sightseeing), dann ist es etwas zu weit außerhalb gelegen, aber die Verbindung in den Central Business District ist gut.
