"We had a lovely time in this cabin. The fire pit is perfect, with comfortable chairs. A marshmallow/hot dog roasting stick in the kitchen! Excellent Weber gas grill. Didn't try the sauna but it looked amazing. Generous supply of firewood. Skylight provided lovely nighttime views. We did not hear any other people in the area, aside from faint noise from the highway."

"The home was beautiful. The view is like none other. Would go back in heartbeat. Perfect home base location for going further north or south to explore. Communication was fantastic. The recommendations in the welcome book were nice to have. Would recommend!"

"Absolutely incredible property, a true up north sanctuary! The space was perfect for our group. The kids (tweens and teens) had a blast with the air hockey table, playing along the rocks and IN the lake. Perfectly situated between Duluth and Grand Marais, so much to do and see. Highly recommend... both the space and the host were wonderful!"

"Arrived and was greeted with a smile. Check-in and Check-out was very easy and fast. The hotel was clean along with our room being clean. We didn't get to use the pool or hot tub (no fault of the hotel - we just didn't take the time to use them). Had a jacuzzi in our room and that was so relaxing! Breakfast options are great and something for everyone. I wish there was a belgian waffle maker and not just the pancake marker :) This will does not effect the stay, just a personal preference! This was our 2nd year in a row staying at this hotel for our anniversary and we certainly will be back! Oh, very convenient to stores, restaurants, coffee shops, gas station and attractions. "
