"Overall the house was nice, clean on the inside. This is definitely a historic home, with it's nuances. As of June 2024 the outside was still not kept up, we couldn't use that patio furniture as it was very dirty. The labyrinth in the back is not walkable because it is over grown with weeds. The primary bed is very very soft, made it feel like sleeping on a pillow, kind of felt like a deflating air mattress so not great. "We were very happy staying at sleeping bear cabin. More lighting in the living room for reading would be nice. Also just fyi the clasps on the hot tub cover were broken and the top of the dishwasher rack was broken on the left side but everything worked… property manager was awesome! Would recommend in a heartbeat!"

"We had the best time at this very comfortable VRBO home. It was well-stocked and just as pictured. There was great communication with the host. The location is perfect for everything Durango has to offer. It’s just a few minutes walk to hiking trails and a natural foods co-op, and just over a 20 minute walk to downtown. "Everything was great. The property was so nice. Nicely decirated. Loved being able to use the garage with the remote. Most if the lughr switches were labled which was super helpful. The only 7sdue was the price/night on the listing. Gave one price but then on the booking total included a host fee and another $85 fee that was not clear what it was for. Felt misleading initially. However, we will choose this property to stay at again if available."

"Lovely yurt with a beautiful view out back. Easy drive to downtown Durango for dinner. Having a mini fridge and option to turn on heat or AC was great. We came with our kids, and the host had a surprise scavenger hunt and treats for the kids, so thoughtful! "This is a charming little cabin with updated amenities. Shawn and Sarah are attentive to guests needs, providing a very comfy bed, precut firewood for campfires, barbecue grill, fish food for the stocked pond, etc. We went up for the Father's Day weekend, fished in the creek, paddled the canoes on the pond, fed the fish, relaxed in the hottub and by the campfire and never left the property! If I had to give a negative, I would prefer the cabin was a little more secluded, but that's just me:)"

"We rented the house for a ski trip to Wolf Creek. The location was perfect. The property has a gorgeous view on the river and it was so peaceful. The hot tub was an added bonus and the kids loved it. One of our favorite places we have stayed in Pagosa! Would stay again."
