For 8 years in the middle 1700's the British forcibly removed the French speaking Acadiens from this area because of an unfounded fear that they would take up arms against them. Grand Pre was an area of reclaimed land that was incredibly fertile. "The location is perfect and the inn is quite charming. The room did look larger in the pictures online but the hot tub area could not have been better. We enjoyed our stay. Just as a note, if you are planning on staying and have a larger vehicle the parking lot can be a little bit tight. "

"Everything was well explained from check in to check out. They checked in to ensure all was well. It is beautifully laid out and close to all the down town tourism stuff. We made use of the outdoor patio nightly. Had some local beer from the business next door. Even saw a fireworks show from the patio! Would definitely book again. "
