"Location, location, location! Sandcastle is situated just mere steps from the beach along the Ecola River, an estuary flowing out to the Pacific Ocean. My wife and I and dog enjoyed several hours in the midday sun at the beach mesmerized by the vast variety of seagulls, ducks, and pelicans. There must have been at least 2000 birds flying or wading around the estuary. It felt like being at a nature reserve. This was an experience we will never forget, the highlight of our stay at Cannon Beach....

"We have stayed at Bali Hai multiple times since 2021 and have always found it to be very clean, well maintained, easy communication with managers, and in the most perfect location possible in this area. Oswald West is close, Tillamook is close, and Rockaway Beach has held onto its classic Oregon Coast vibe. This house is well managed and is always a joy to visit. We have already booked our stay for next year."

"This home provided excellent space for all. Exceptional great room with cozy seating for all plus the view, cooking going on, spacious kitchen and huge dining room. Abundant choices for sleeping plus four bathrooms provided privacy, and two exterior decks to enjoy the outdoors. Quick walk to beach or head out to shop at nearby shops!"

"Great place on the Newhalem River for two couples! Loved the modern design with a large main space looking over the river and large deck. Nice contemporary kitchen and bathroom too. Location convenient to walk to town, or short drive to nearby Manzanita and the epic Short Sands Beach at Oswald State Park. Some occasional traffic sound being on main road, but didn't bother us City residents."

"Was a few steps from the beach which was awesome. The home was spacious. It needed some upgrades though. There was grout missing in the bathroom floor, brown water damage on parts of the baseboards, plastic shower curtain was missing so all the water was mildewing the cloth curtain. "

"Overall everything was as expected. We were happy to get the early check in, unfortunately there was no communication with the maintenance person regarding early check in. He walked in on me in my underwear. So, besides the huge invasion of privacy, it was alright."

"Property is beautiful, clean, easy access to beach. Parking is very difficult. Instructions for how to park were on a bullitan board in the kitchen ( a bit late) instead of communicated with the confirmation instructions. Also, the need to climb up a hill and many steps from the parking area to the front door was a huge and diifficult surpirse for us as one of us recently had open heart surgery and we are both 75. Very hard to haul our bags, food etc up from the car. We would not have rented...

"The setting is spectacular - wide open views of the ocean and incredible sunsets. The street and neighbors are quiet and you feel like you're completely isolated. House was spotless and well appointed, easy drive to beach and shops. We managed the external access with kids with no problem, but with younger kids it might be an issue. Over the place was fantastic and we'd absolutely stay again."
