"The room itself smelled like stale smoke, HOWEVER, the view was amazing! We were assigned a room on the lake and it was so lovely. The lake was full of more birds than I had ever seen (egrets, ibises, heron, ducks). The front desk professional was nice and helpful. The room was large. For a cheap hotel, we got our money's worth. If not for the lake and birds, I would have probably thought that it was a kinda crappy hotel but cheap for the price. The stunning scenery made it 5 stars...

"The room was, as always, clean and stocked with adequate bath linens, soap, and shampoo. The staff were cordial and helpful. This is an older motel in need of updating, but if you're on a budget and not looking for luxuries, this is a good choice."

"Rooms were ok seemed outdated. Toilet was wobbly, breakfast area TV didn’t work. Breakfast was barely edible. The pool was dirty with leafs , bugs and long hairs. The fitness room just had 3 cardio machines. Unfortunately for us this was the best place to stay. The photos online are old . Maybe it looked like that several years ago. But it’s definitely not what it looks like now."

"It worked out great for us. It’s near restaurants, shopping, historic downtown and parks. It was provided with refrigerator and microwave and coffee maker. It meant our needs at a great price."
