"Stayed at the Stateside lodge. Best part about it was all the hangers in the unit to hang our wet clothing from the unfortunate spring rain conditions. Room was nice, beds comfy and staff friendly. We had a great time at Jay and look forward to returning. "

The kitchen was well equipped and the location is perfectly situated near Newport and only 30 minute from Jay Peak. Everything was spotless and comfortable and the lake views were amazing. "The Colonnade was near and clean, in need of upgrades in bathroom and man room door. Staff were extremely helpful and kind. I give it a 5 for the effort, convenience, and lovely staff! "

"Convenient location with basic but clean and comfortable rooms at an affordable price. Plenty of on-site parking and only 4 miles from Jay Peak. Staff is friendly and accomodating. Nice restaurant/bar on the first floor with a decent menu and large portions. Only minor downside is the reataurant/bar stops serving at 9pm even on weekends. Would be better if they served until at least 10."

"Rooms are clean and rustic, common areas are great for larger groups to socialize. Shared bathrooms were clean and we had the wing to ourselves so our party had more than enough amenities. Fridge, microwave, sink, coffee supplies in shared kitchen. Recommend bringing in bottled water. Attached Bistro was wonderful - great food / bar / staff. A really great rural VT experience! "
