« The owner was so friendly, helpful, and kind. I was in town for a convention and was alone, and he made me feel right at home - even insisting on carrying my items up the stairs. I had requested a hair dryer in room the day before and it was waiting for me when I got there! Very close to the Winder Gardens where my convention was, and nearby to shops as well. I had to buy another suitcase due to all of my shopping. Will stay again! »

« Lovely clean hotel, very polite and friendly staff giving a very warm welcome. Our only problem was the pressure in shower was very low and the mattress was cheap and flimsy. »

« We have enjoyed a fantastic 2 night stay, the location was spot on only 2 minutes to Lake Windermere and the ferry landing point. Colin is the perfect host, very attentive, knowledgeable of the area and looked after us well. Breakfast was a lovely; full English in a cosy setting. The room was fine with all amenities. It was our birthdays whilst there and Colin decorated the room, these touches are most appreciated. Definitely recommend 10/10 »

« I've stayed at Gracelands Guest House 3 nights and it was perfect! The situation (4mn walking from the coach station), the bed (very comfortable) , the color of the painting in my room (pink!
