Barrocal Vacation Packages

We really couldn’t fault anything with this little gem. It took me a day to get the fact that we could use the beautiful large communal kitchen whenever we wanted. It had a handy ironing board and iron in one corner, microwave, washing machine and every pot and utensil you would need. We helped ourselves to a lovely choice of breakfast supplies including eggs which we cooked ourselves however we wanted between 8 and 11 and could either eat in the dining room or outside by the pool. We all washed up after ourselves. We had a room with a very comfortable bed, a very clean bathroom, fridge and a coffee pod machine that we had never used before so took a while to figure out how to use it as just a kettle to fill up our cups of favourite tea and coffee granules from home, lol. Our patio doors opened up to a little patio with table and chairs and a couple of layout beds and yards from the lovely little swimming pool that we had to ourselves often. I will miss that view from sitting in bed with my coffee early in the morning. The hosts were lovely and so accommodating, especially on making our last day so carefree when we had a late flight. Will definitely return one day.

Great culture - Friendly, approachable and helpful staff. Loved the amenities. Breakfast buffet is excellent. Dinner buffet also excellent, well stocked and excited.

This is a very good hotel, well situated, comfortable generous rooms, relaxed hotel, lovely pool area and grounds, good options at the buffet, but missing a few nice to have eggs options (poached eggs, omelette). The drinks are of decent quality, and the evening and dsy entertainment was top notch. The restaurant experience was notably lacking personal service and lacked hospitality which seems to have changed since our last visit. Everyone else was courteous and professional and helpful with information or requests. The hotel has changed ownership and lost some local flavour and personality but it is a very comfortable stay while visiting the area.
