Terry is a great Host. Apartment is very modern and clean. Tery has gone over and beyond on quality. I would stay there again.

This was my third stay at GCH. I see some improvements have been done with the bar and lounge area which is really nice. I always enjoy my stay but I think the Chef is different. My stew fish just wasn't what I remembered it to be. Not bad but I liked it when it was more a traditional type guyanese stew.

The room wasn’t up to my type of cleanliness. The shower was disgusting, soap scum and molded. The toilet was nasty. The water was brown. The air conditioner gave out a moldy smell. The breakfast was okay.

We weren’t put on a higher floor as indicated at booking. When questioned we were told there was a leak/problem on 5th floor. Hoping for another corner room on a higher floor [than 1] we were shown alternative rooms that were smaller. Additionally the pillows were stained with red juice or wine. Considering the newness of the hotel more was expected. The front desk manager, Ebony was firm and proactive with training she’ll be a great. However the hotel could do better should be better considering the growth of guests and expected.

This is a beautiful property. Love the ambience, the decor, the color pallet, the pool, the beautiful garden type vibes. The room was a good enough size for us, the bathroom was just lovely. The room was cleaned daily, and they really did a good job at changing the towels etc. I've been to other hotels where I've had to argue with them for new towels daily. You have to use your room key card to take the elevators up which is a good safety measure. There were lots of restrooms around the hotel, all clean of course. The lobby has tons of seating, there's even a semi private area with a tv. The pool is huge and I loved the resort type vibes around the pool, again lots of restrooms outside with a shower. So the bar & restaurant closes at 10pm, which was a bummer. We hung out in the lobby until 2am most mornings and would have loved a coffee or drink you know, we are on vacation :) My only suggestion would be to open the bar until even midnight if it can't be until the morning hours and the restaurant until a little later. I know they have to prepare for breakfast but maybe 2 shifts or something. And maybe light music playing on the outside by pool area.
