The Reserve at Sugar Mountain is the best and most scenic mountain resort in western North Carolina. From the balcony, enjoy the natural beauty and the soul-satisfying views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Linville Valley. You'll love being eye-level with the top of the world at this Reserve condominium. At over 5,000 feet elevation, there is always a cool summer breeze, not to mention the opportunity to walk to the top of the ski slope in winter! This property is light and bright inside, with a soaring ceiling in the great room and the main bedroom has a sliding door walking out to that big view. The main bedroom features a king bed, the guest room has a queen, and there are two twin sleeper chairs in the spacious loft, allowing this property to comfortably sleep six. Other features include a gas log fireplace, a full kitchen complete with stainless appliances, wireless internet, and central air conditioning.

View is a million dollar view. Deck Furniture was great. Kitchen well stocked for cooking. Only needs where for a Note Book with instructions on the TV usage and the Thermostat! Older folks and new technology does not always work the way you want it to. We did figure it out but for future I would have a note book with check out procedure. Still the place is 5 star and the fall colors where at the peak. Great week again at the hidden gem of sugar mountain. The Reserve

Simple put, we would for sure book this house again. The house was setup well and very comfortable. The view is 5 stars, even while sitting on the couch. I have not had a better one in all of my stays in the Boone area.

Beautiful welcoming home! We had such a great time and experience that we have already booked for next year and are looking forward to going back. Having the loft and all of the things for the grandchildren to enjoy was a huge benefit. The only complaint we had was that the carpet was very stained, but other than that, everything else was perfect. The beds were comfortable, everything we needed was provided, the views were spectacular, and the location was quiet and peaceful! Thank you!

This was one of the most wonderful vacation rentals we have ever stayed in. It was so clean and well maintained, stocked with everything we could have dreamt of, and very comfortable. The view was absolutely unparalleled. There were so many special touches and additions that made it a great place to stay- lots of games and books, impressive technology, high quality kitchen supplies, and luxurious bedding. Vacasa did a fantastic job making sure we were well informed with clear directions, weather forecasts, and tips for local restaurants and activities. We can not wait to return and stay here again!

Quite an adventure just climbing the road to get there. Flatlanders like us were amazed by the views that just got better and better. This unit was near the top of Sugar Mountain. Number 32 out of 37 buildings. Loved the level entry and close by parking. Amazing sunsets!

Very nice property. We were just staying the night but the condo was clean and well furnished. Although we didn’t use them the board games in the condo were a nice touch. And the view was magnificent. The only negative was that the water (and hot water) were both turned off. Seems like the cleaning crew would leave it on knowing we were checking in. Definitely didn’t ruin our experience but it’s worth pointing out if you’re staying here.

Well equipped and spacious condo with room for youngsters upstairs if needed. A few maintenance items need attention (such as providing a cover/blind for one door in the master bedroom). Cushions on the deck furniture would make seating more comfortable. Figuring out how to use the "entry system" was problematic with little light...few directions. Perhaps youngsters would do it in a blink. Kitchen was very well furnished and provision of essential cleaning supplies was appreciated. Appreciate supply of games and books...useful for "clouded in" days.

We completely enjoyed our stay - we didn't need the 3 bedrooms for only 2 of us but it was bright & open, nice furnishings, kitchen appliances, etc were more than sufficient. Reflects pride in ownership. We've requested the same unit for a month next year.
