"A Charming and Pleasant Stay! I had a very pleasant stay at this inn! Although the rooms are a little outdated, the property itself has so much charm and character. The staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful, which made the experience even better. One of my favorite features was the beautiful creek behind the property, along with a lovely porch and a little swing chair where you can sit, relax, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Such a charming touch! The rooms were very clean and comfortable overall, but there are a few areas that could use improvement. The beds were a bit squeaky and could use replacing, although it didn’t bother me much since I was exhausted and fell asleep right away. The TVs could also use an upgrade to modern smart TVs that allow guests to access their streaming apps. The coffee maker was my only real disappointment. It was quite dusty on top, almost as if it hadn’t been used or cleaned in a long time. I also couldn’t figure out how to get it to work, so I ended up heating water in the microwave to make my coffee. Replacing the coffee makers would definitely be a worthwhile improvement. Despite these minor inconveniences, I truly enjoyed my stay. The charm of the property, the peaceful creekside setting, the cleanliness, and the wonderful hospitality more than made up for the outdated amenities. "It’s an older property with a lot of character and remodeled sometime in the last few years. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, if a little plain. Sometime during our second day the hot water in the bathroom sink stopped working but the shower was fine. The grounds were a perfect fall setting. The one thing I would recommend is that the owners add some waste disposal cans to the areas where dogs are allowed so you don’t have to look for a dumpster or put waste in a regular trash can near guest rooms. We would definitely visit again."

"Tv was hard to work. Need instructions. No alarm clock in the room. The bed was the best feature! Very very comfortable. In fact I overslept because it was so comfortable lol. The bed was a little high for my 84 year old mother. It would be nice if you provided a step for senior citizens to use to get into bed. I had to go to her room to help her into bed."

"I liked the balcony on the river. Very serene but truck traffic on road across the river was loud & every 15-20 minutes. Also, I requested a shower chair ( health issues) Staff would not furnish!!?? Suggest disabled to book elsewhere."
