Clean and comfortable

This is a top notch hotel. Have stayed here before and wanted to share it with our adult daughters on our family trip to Ireland. Is a wee stone’s throw from the Titanic Experience which is absolutely worth doing.

Stayed two nights at the Fitzwilliam Hotel last week and the hotel staff could not have been more accommodating. A huge shout out to the concierge desk consisting of Gerard, Paul, and Gavin; all of whom went out of the way to make our first visit to Belfast comfortable and memorable. Although most of the city restaurants and bars were closed during the late afternoon due to the recent protests/demonstrations, the concierge staff made several recommendations for places that they knew would remain open, where the food was good, and where we would feel safe: the Morning Star, Kelly's Cellars, and the Mourne Seafood Bar next door to Kelly's Cellars. Lastly, knowing that my wife and I wanted to book a two-hour Black Taxi tour, the concierge desk recommended Paul, who everyone refers to as "Starsky" at a cost of 80 pounds. Instead, of a two-hour tour, though, for the next 3 1/2 hours, Paul drove us along Falls Road and Shankill Road where we learned all about the challenging moments and troubles in Belfast, while seeing the city's murals and peace walls, and hearing the various versions of Ireland's history, at no additional charge. In addition to the Titanic Museum, a Black Taxi tour with Starsky is a "must".

Fabulous location for town amd concerts in broucher playing field Excellent hotel. Beautiful rooms and bathroom was great. So clean.. Bar was lovely Breakfast great..although pancakes not enjoyable..bought in???? I.will definitely return and have already recommended to people Beautiful quiet street..so pretty

Very classy. You have an entire flat. It is spacious by UK standards. Kitchen is well appointed. The inside and outside are restored in fine detail - everything works and everything upscale. If we were coming for a month, the Ulsterville Residence would’ve been a great apartment from which to travel. Sound insulation between flats was outstanding - rather unique in an urban setting. Parking was readily available and very safe. Neighbors were friendly. Full marks - across the board.
