« We had a wonderful time and the owners were always to helpful to answer any questions/concerns that popped up during our 8 day stay. We had a couple days we didn't leave the place and just relaxed and the house lent itself to that very easily with quiet spaces plus the really fun game room for the kids. »

It is clean (aside from a few dust bunnies that go with a log cabin) and has good amenities to make your stay great. The beds are comfortable, although they are short for tall people. « My husband, daughter, granddaughter and I stayed at cabin #1 from Sep 9 to 17, 2023. We had an absolutely lovely time. The cabin and contents were way more than we expected and we all felt very comfortable. The weather was perfect and the location was absolutely stunning. We swam every day and thanks to Eldon we had a fire every night. The firewood was virtually smoke free and it didn't snap. Claudia and Klaus were kind, friendly, helpful and generous hosts. « We loved this place and would definitely recommend it. It lives up to the description and photos! The view is stunning day and night and it's 5 minutes from downtown. The kitchen was easy to cook in with everything we needed. We only gently heard faint footsteps upstairs and enjoyed being in someone's beautifully cared-for space. Only regret was not being there late enough in the season to see the gorgeous plantings come alive. »
