Pleasant Beach Getaway - Breathtaking Puget Sound Views and Steps from the Beach

Enjoy Bainbridge Island’s gorgeous views from this remodeled home. Beach access is right across the street, with beach combing, tide pools, and wildlife viewing at your fingertips. The home is adjacent to Fort Ward Park, and provides guests with endless outdoor opportunities, hiking, running and biking on the paved trails, picnicking, and a public boat launch. Location is superb for kayaking and stand up paddle boarding as well. Guests will enjoy spectacular views of the Puget Sound’s Rich Passage, with the Bremerton ferry route running in the passage throughout the day. The home faces west and overlooks the peaks of the Olympic Mountains, which means spectacular sunset views from the front deck.

The home’s extensive renovation includes an all-new kitchen with stainless appliances and gas range, gas fireplaces upstairs and downstairs, maple hardwood floors and new carpet, all new bathrooms with heated floors, soaking tub, and rainfall shower in the master. New windows and efficient heating and air conditioning make the home comfortable year round. The landscape is also completely new, and includes a fire pit overlooking the water and a seasonal herb and flower garden. EV car charging is available for a small extra fee. Please inquire with the owner at the time of booking if you would like to use this service.

The home is tastefully furnished with items from West Elm, Pottery Barn, and Crate and Barrel. The beds are luxuriously dressed with down comforters, quality linens, and premium mattresses. The kitchen is thoughtfully stocked with everything a chef could need to prepare wonderful meals.

Not only is the location ideal for enjoying all of the outdoor beauty Bainbridge Island offers, it’s only a mile to nearby Lynnwood Center, which features wonderful restaurants, a movie theater, a bakery, and quaint shops. Downtown Winslow is a short 10 minute drive from the home, and provides access to groceries, the ferry dock, a wide variety of dining, museums, and the ferry landing.

In order to keep the home in the best condition possible, we kindly ask for no smoking and no pets. Photo ID verification and Esigned rental agreement will be requested after booking.

Trip to visit Seattle grandson

Our kids live in Seattle so we all met up on Bainbridge Island. The house was perfect for us. There were really two bedrooms for adults (the other were bunk beds). There were wonderful trains and a a mild kitchen downstairs which our grandson loved. The weather was beautiful and we had our dinners out on the deck with beautiful water views!!!

Fabulous Location & House!!!

Amazing location, steps from the beach. The beach is gorgeous and we found tons of beautiful beach glass, spotted a bald eagle & otters! The house itself is the BEST rental property we’ve stayed in! The kitchen has everything you need to cook & grill! The primary bathroom has an enormous tub. We enjoyed the outdoor firepit each night we were there. The kids loved riding the bikes to the park close by. Overall a fabulous experience!!!

Wonderful Escape — Perfect Location

We stayed at this lovely house for 3 nights. It was perfect. The location is right next to a lovely park and the home is cozy, welcoming, clean and well equipped. We will be back again!

Great house for family stay on Bainbridge Island

Our family of seniors, adults and small children very much enjoyed our stay. The house is well equipped for preparing family meals and entertaining toddlers. The play kitchen was a big hit, and the adjacent park convenient for walks . Everything was as described, and the little garden was a bonus. The location was a short drive to town and other playgrounds for the kiddies. We would certainly enjoy a return visit.

Great location and home

We stayed for a week with my younger children and my parents, and everything was perfect. The house is right next to Fort Ward and has beautiful view from deck. The house fit perfectly for our family and had a great space and some toys for the kids. Would happily stay here again!

Relaxing vacation time

We met our daughter and her family in Seattle for a weekend getaway. We are from New Mexico,they are from Yakima ,WA. We wanted to explore Bainbridge Island and find Pía the Peacekeeper. The house was easy to find and sits on a hill allowing views of the water. The love,time,and effort the hosts put into renovating the house are very apparent. The house is so comfy and inviting. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen well stocked with pots and pans,utensils,small appliances and even a new grill on the deck. The playroom downstairs kept out three year old grandson entertained. We were able to explore the island,find Pía and be able to spend family time at the nd of a fun filled day. The host was very responsive and friendly. Highly recommend this home.

Superb property!

Absolute gem on Bainbridge Island. We were three adults (parents and grandma) plus two young kids (ages 3& almost 1) and it met all of our needs. We were there for Thanksgiving to visit family that lived nearby. The house has lots of space, is clean, and is a very dialed in property. I never had to contact the property manager with questions because everything was so clear, organized, and as expected. Seamless check in process. I love that they use unscented detergent, oeko-tex towels, and while not technically baby proof-had a very safe space for kids to play on the bottom level. The fireplaces were awesome and made the house so cozy when it was cold outside. The kitchen was well stocked and super clean. The house is the last property on the street before Fort Ward Park. Quiet and private. Just steps from the beach-we saw seals, a bald eagle, etc. Very close to good food in Lynwood Center and only 10 minutes from the ferry/Winslow area. We will definitely be back to stay here!

This property had everything we needed

We stayed here for over 4 weeks with visits from our adult children as well as our grand baby. The location ( a few hundred yards from the entrance to the Ft Ward State Park) was perfect. We walked in the park daily ! Our host provided everything you could need in the house - we cooked most meals in the well stocked kitchen. The property is a short drive to downtown Bainbridge as well as the Ferry. Two near by grocery stores made our visit that much better. The house is clean, quiet and relaxing. We shared many meals on the deck enjoying the views of the water and the sight of the Ferry traversing the channel.

Modern upscale property. Our only challenge was finding the house in the dark. We couldn’t get an early check-in so we had to find the home and negotiate the keypad in the dark. Challenging but we did it! And the house was lovely.
