"My boyfriend and I booked this trip and he actually proposed during our trip! We loved coming back to the cozy studio cottage. The view from bed is beautiful , the stars at night were breath taking! Easy to check in, place was clean the one minor thing was the couch bed is not the best for the back but is cozy and soft. We will be back !"

"This property is a refurbished boat house. I realize that all of the pictures are accurate but the place is WAY BETTER than I expected. First of all, the space is HUGE, at more than 800 sq ft. It has a king size bed, a futon, a couch, a dining room table, a huge desk, a bar, a full kitchen with breakfast bar, a washer/dryer, and a bathroom with tub. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in Portland. Dan was a very gracious host and was very responsive to all of our needs. The home is directly across the street from Fort Allen Park and if you walk down to the base of the hill there are walking trails where many people are biking and running. This trail leads to the center of town which is a walkable distance to the many restaurants. We did a ferry tour and highly recommend it. "This home is at such a great location. It was so easy to walk to great restaurants, shops, and other points of interest. The building is a charming townhouse on a pretty street and the interior is well- appointed, neat and clean. All the essentials plus some extras were supplied, from coffee to personal care items. Having dedicated parking was key. We very much appreciated how responsive the hosts were. They promptly answered questions and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay."

"My husband and I stayed two nights, arriving late in the afternoon. We had no difficulty finding or getting into the property. The place was clean and the bed was comfortable. We were out doing things in the area most of the time, but did enjoy a slow, quiet morning and loved being able to walk to the nearby park and enjoy the view. We were also in the apartment early one evening because of light rain, just reading and checking emails, etc., and missed the basics for preparing our own food....
