I made a reservation through Expedia only to arrive and find out that the property was CLOSED! There was no emergency contact through Beachcomber or Expedia. So were were left hours from home with no place to stay. Very disappointed that this was not communicated. There was no problem with the charges being made to my credit card!

One Night Stay
This is a nice place to stay. We had a one night stay for to attend a wedding and it was during the December so it was not creamy with beach goers. Just the fact that they were open at this time of year is great because other places around it were not. The price was very reasonable through hotels.com. We forgot to bring a plug to charge our devices and the resort does not have USB outlets so make sure you have everything you need to go away when staying here. But all the regular amenities of a hotel are available.

The Beachcomber was a well maintained property. The employees were hospitable and helpful. The rooms were charming and comfortable and the location was great - close to the beach - a block from the beautiful beach - and perfect for walking, biking and relaxing. Nice pool area and music in the early evening. I will definitely return.

The property was lovely. Booked through Expedia. I had paid in full then was charged a resort fee upon arrival. Also tv volume button was broken. Unable to watch tv Saturday night. This was disappointing. The day I checked out check in area smelled like food.

Had a good stay. Property appeared well cared for. Pool was clean and nice. We stayed in Room 110, which is a studio. Was nicely decorated and clean. I would stay here again. Only recommendation is some sound proofing between the rooms could be better. I could hear a baby crying next door and people hanging out outside.

We were looking for somewhere to stay for a weekend getaway but It was soo cute. The staff was super friendly during checkin and check out! Housekeeping staff was also very friendly and nice. The room was so homey, clean, comfy and beautiful. I would definitely come again!

My husband and I stayed in a Studio and we were first time guests. The studio was absolutely beautiful and was furnished with everything that we needed. Extremely clean, comfortable bed, extra blanket. Convenient to shopping and a 2 minute walk to the beach.

DISAPPOINTED
We were going to a wedding and this hotel was recommended by the venue The Reeds. Hotel exterior is nice and literally 1 block from beach, which is very nice for a sunset stroll. They have a heated pool and a large jacuzzi, neither if which we used as there was a private party happening. After waiting for about 15mins to check in we were given our key with directions to our 2nd floor room. Unfortunately when we arrived in our room we were very disappointed. Room was ok but tired looking. Kitchen and bathroom were nice. Upon further inspection the sectional sofasleeper had stains and was collapsed in and very hard and uncomfortable to sit on. The bed was so soft and uncomfortable you felt as if you were falling in. The dining chairs were dirty with several odd white stains on them. We had to put towels on both the sofa and chairs to sit. When I tried to change rooms I was informed that hotel was fully booked as there were several other weddings in the area. Since I had the wedding next day we had no other option but to stay. We had several family members staying at this hotel as well, some with updated rooms, others with a similar or worse experience than mine. This condo/hotel needs to Update/Renovate ALL their rooms.or at least the furniture. RENTER BEWARE, ask if your room has been updated before finalizing booking.
