It's an older property about 20 minutes walk from Auckland city. It is opposite the rose gardens which are pleasant. If you can ask for a room on the ends, then you only have to worry about the noise through one thin wall. We put up with consistent coughing and other associated noises. They had tea spoons but no knives, forks or bottle openers in the room. Matteress seemed old and quite hard, but some people like that style. No double glazing so road side rooms like ours was noisey. Guess free car parking was a bonus.

Recently upgraded and clean and bright The Rose Park is a great economical option for business or family. The staff are very friendly and helpful and I always manage a stay there when visiting Auckland.
