Loved the room and beautiful balcony! Breakfast was delicious! Close to downtown for restaurants. Beds were super comfortable. Would stay there again!

Great location, great restaurant!

First off, the staff was super friendly and helpful, but the room missed its mark. The set up was awkward and a little run down. It could use a facelift. When the room was made up each day there was always something missing. It was either the small towels one day, or clean glasses the next, or the shower caps, you get what I mean, requiring a phone call to the desk every afternoon. It touted a heated pool/spa, which was barely staffed, the water was not very warm, the steam room was out of order, it was not worth our time. We were disappointed.

This was our last hotel on our 10 day trip, and definitely the best out of the 3. From the moment we checked in to the morning we checked out my husband and I could not fault this hotel. Location is perfect, breakfast is plentiful with friendly and attentive staff. There is a large and relaxing bar area where hot drinks and cake can be ordered as well as alcoholic drinks throughout the day/evening. Our room as well as the rest of the hotel is clean and welcoming. We would definitely stay at Hotel Torbrau if we were visiting Munich again.

Was a fantastic location for visiting the city. Very good hotel, clean, good food, really helpful staff and would 100% stay again.
