The room was clean and spacious!

There was a long line and no agents working at any of the check in stations when I arrived. I was told my room was going through "final inspection" when I checked in, but then waited over 2 hours for my room. The bellman yelled at me when I called to ask to have my suitcase delivered to my room, and I was double charged for the room. So the stay was overall not at all what I expected compared to the last time I stayed at the Fairmont a year ago. It was a complete disappointment.

I did love staying here, cons and pros below if you are interested! Cons: -The only major negative I have is not having large mats/room carpets down or providing a few washable ones as an option (which I understand it’s an ease for cleaning) but the inside tracked in so much sand and dirt and was EXTREMELY slippery when wet, especially the outside bathroom area, outside of the single small bathroom towel mat! Be very careful in the bathroom as the water from the shower will get everywhere inside due to no curtain and puddles will form and it is VERY slippery. -FYI the bathroom has a shared open ceiling with the next door unit’s bathroom. You cannot see them, but you can hear EVERYTHING; conversations, showers, using the toilet, etc.. Pros: Easy check in process. Street parking usually always available within a block (usually spaces in front available), bus stop one block away, 3 blocks from the beach, next to a friendly active park, dining options nearby, the beach is never overly crowded at all times, the TV allows you to login to your streaming services with setting an auto-log-out date, looks exactly like the photos, and the AC works great along with them having thick privacy curtains. Note: This acts as a stand alone rental - there is no staff on site and no housekeeping. Despite multiple listings sharing the same property, this specific unit has an outside property entrance.

Amazing resort with luxury amenities spa, hair salon, pilates. The staff were very attentive and always made sure if you wanted to eat by pool or drink they came to you on your lounge chair or pool. We were in room with hot plunge and it was clean, decorative and earthy. High end finishes and master bedroom and shower. My only complaint was I could hear chair being dragged on floor on 10th level from roof top restaurant bar at night. Totally recommend for couples not families.
