"Traveling down the Oregon coast from late May to mid September is always going to be expensive, and unless you’re staying in a complete dive, don’t expect to find something decent for less than $300 a night on the north coast- especially on a weekend. This was our first night specifically on the Oregon coast, and given the options in either Astoria, Cannon Beach, or Seaside, this was really about the best thing that we could find for the money. It was pricey, but as I say, unless you wanna stay someplace where you’re tripping over crackheads trying to get into your room, you don’t have a lot of choice at this time of the year. The hotel is quite old, so there’s no underground parking available. That’s not usually a problem, as there is lots of street parking, but if you’re there at certain times of the year on a Saturday, you need to be careful about parking on the street because on Sunday morning, not far from the hotel, there is a farmers market, and if you are parked on certain streets (which are well marked, and also well marked on the hotel’s front door) you could end up getting yourself towed. Obviously, this isn’t the hotel’s fault, and they do their best to warn people, but still some people just don’t pay attention. The hotel was nice. The staff are friendly, the place is clean, they’ve got a nice little wine bar downstairs, and I guess if I had to complain about anything, it would be the key cards. I was given two key cards for myself and my wife, and it didn’t"

Great location and in close walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go! We can't wait to stay here again next time we're in Astoria!"
