Our apartment was lovely cosy relaxing and clean. Property was set in the national park with lovely views and plenty of walking areas as we took along our dog too, which was lovely and the dog seemed happy there too.
Staff were pleasant and helpful too.
We’ll definitely go back within the next few months or so 🙂👍🏻

8.6/10 Excellent! (144 reviews)
Our room was clean but very basic and small. The bathroom has been recently updated and everything works great, including plenty of hot water.
The parking is especially spacious for Wales!
Restaurant food is typical pub food, tasty, generous portions and served piping hot.
Friendly staff.
Nothing fancy here, but good value for the money.

"The Lion hotel was centrally located, this was a big plus with discounted overnight parking. However the hotel and room itself were very shabby and tired looking. Carpets were threadbare and windows rusty and wouldnt close properly. The shower in room 303 was terrible, either scalding hot or cold, ..."

"Inside the main front gates the approach to the hotel is on a hill where there are plenty of parking spaces. The building is elegant outside and in. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful. My room was on the first floor at the rear and was a modest size. There was a large flat screen tv, blackout ..."
