It’s an easy stroll to the Yorkshire Dales Visitor Centre, and there’s a beautiful 4.5‑mile loop walk along the river that brings you back through Grass Wood Nature Reserve. It’s also a perfect base for exploring the wider Dales, with Aysgarth Falls, Hawes, the Ribblehead Viaduct and more all within easy reach. We'll definitely be booking Grassington Lodge...

« Stayed here with a friend in preparation for Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge. Check in very easy. Warm welcome. Very hospitable staff. We had to leave the hotel early next morning before kitchen opened but staff left us breakfast (cereals, yogurt etc) out for us which was really appreciated. Also made us sandwiches to take with us. Pub/bar and food was really good. Cosy. »

"Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis par la jeune dame, et nous nous sommes immédiatement sentis comme à la maison. L'ambiance du pub est incroyablement conviviale, avec des locaux discutant joyeusement. C'est l'incarnation même du cosy anglais. Notre chambre était un véritable havre de paix. Elle était impeccablement propre, décorée avec goût dans un style moderne et épuré et offrait une vue à couper le souffle sur les collines verdoyantes. Le lit était confortable, et après une longue journée de marche, exactement ce qu'il nous fallait. Les petites attentions, comme \[mentionnez les petits plus, ex: le plateau de thé et café avec des biscuits locaux et les articles de toilette de qualité, ont rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Le petit-déjeuner le lendemain matin a été la cerise sur le gâteau, nous a donné l'énergie nécessaire pour notre prochaine randonnée. Ce qui distingue vraiment cet endroit, c'est l'atmosphère et l'attention du personnel. C'est plus qu'un simple hébergement, c'est une véritable immersion dans la culture locale. On sent la passion et l'engagement des propriétaires pour offrir une expérience mémorable."
