Friendly staff, warm and welcoming bar area with wood burner where we ate a good dinner. Hamper breakfast very adequate. All in all, very good value for money. Very comfortable bedroom with large modern bathroom.

Loads of choice from fresh fruit and yogurt to full English. What stood out the most tho was the staff. Never have we been anywhere with such nice friendly staff who can’t do enough for you. Spot on!

Staff very helpful and pleasant, bedroom wasvery clean and well decorated service and food was excellent. Couldn't give it an overall excellent because the bed whilst being okay it was a bit past it's sell by date and not the most comfortable

The hotel is next to the A66, which is very convenient. We couldn’t have been more impressed or happy with this hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. It’s also very dog friendly. We would not hesitate to recommend and we will return.

Super staff, spotless and comfortable room… I had a quiet and very restful sleep. I also had a very nice dinner at the restaurant as well. Breakfast was delivered properly and was very tasty – I would stay here again!

Staff are amazing, very friendly and always happy to help with anything. The food was fantastic, and the pub was very cozy. The room was clean and comfortable, spacious and overall pleasant, we had a beautiful view out the window. Would definitely recommend and we will be back. Thank you.

Staff member who checked us in was polite and pleasant. Lovely clean and spacious loft room, huge bathroom which was on the lower floor. Beautiful sort white towels (although we did only have one bath towel). Breakfast hamper was great. It would be useful to have had a small table to eat at.

Welcome when we arrived and the service throughout was amazing. The evening meal was fabulous too. The only slight issue we had was the soundproofing. We were in Room 8 and could hear noise from kitchen and other rooms.

A great stop over

Well presented hotel that is easy to find on main A66. Rooms were clean and comfortable with a really decent rain shower. Food in restaurant was excellent with a good choice. Decent choice of drinks available. Lucy who greeted us was excellent. Polite friendly and enjoyed a laugh

Great find

What a lovely place to stay. A convenient location on the A66 (near to Scotch Corner). Beatiful views from the back of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful from start to finish. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals in the bar area. Rooms were nice and comfortable with a very spacious bathroom and great shower. The only downside was that we were in Room 8 which was above the kitchen which was a bit on the noisey side. Will definitely use again but would bring ear plugs next time.
