Comfortable and walking distance to Asheville

Posted 29-Jul-2016
The hotel was a fairly standard experience with quite comfortable rooms. The rooms and bathrooms were clean but not extravagant. The best feature was the location relative to town, restaurants and bars. The location was worth the stay.

Very close to downtown

Posted 7-May-2016
Pros: Location, nice room
Cons: Some updates, but overall a great stay
Location: Close to downtown shops, restaurants. Could walk to just about anything.
Stayed for a few days. Really great location for the price downtown.

The room was not great and the service was just okay. Not a good value for the money.

Great location, so-so hotel

Posted 25-Apr-2016 on Hotels
Was placed in the room right next to the elevators and lobby. Constant noise from both of these along with a iffy AC unit. Could not move rooms as the hotel was fully booked. Hotel location was great. Fortunately, we didn't spend much time at the hotel because it did not provide a relaxing environment. Could have been a completely different experience if in a different room location.

The staff was friendly and the location was fabulous. I was bummed to see that the rooms did not have a mini fridge.

Pros and Cons

Posted 21-Apr-2016
Pros: The location is superb, adjacent to downtown and walkable to everything. Perfect for those who don't want to worry about driving and parking, especially after a night in Asheville experiencing food and drink. Staff was welcoming and pleasant. There is a restaurant I did not try. Cons: the room was clean and comfortable, but the air conditioner was aggressively loud and wheezy... Kept me awake. The water pressure in the shower and toilet was dismal. Pool closed for repairs. The general demeanor of the place is rather generic. Especially the lobby. But as they say, location, location, location.

Decent option in downtown Asheville

Posted 19-Apr-2016 on Hotels
The pros: easy check-in and out; very nice staff; large rooms. The cons: Slightly musty smell in the room; almost non-existent water pressure in shower I wanted to be near downtown Asheville and couldn't find an affordable room rate elsewhere. I booked here for the decent rates and good location and was satisfied with both.

Good location. That's about it.

Posted 16-Apr-2016
Pros: Location. Nice staff.
Cons: Cleanliness. The building is old and the current renovations are superficial.
Good location but this hotel is in need of more extensive renovation. Cleanliness was not as good as it should be. Especially the bathtub.

Four Points Asheville ROCKS!!!

We had an amazing stay, the front desk staff was excellent. When we needed to change rooms due to elevator noise, they had no problem accommodating us (make sure you don't get a room next to the elevator it's a little noises if you are a light sleeper). Once we moved our stay was perfect. Deonte at the front desk was extremely helpful and being able to work out at the YMCA next door is a huge plus. The hotel is relatively close to everything but we just Took an Uber everywhere so we could enjoy all the great beers Asheville has to offer.
