Nice and Affordable

Staff was great! They allowed us to check in early and when the breakfast upgrade we paid for wasn't available they refunded us the money, no questions asked. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Walking distance to downtown. Will stay again.

Close to downtown

Great location with many delicious restaurants, cold beer & lots of shopping. Room was immaculate, bed & pillows were so soft & comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. Free parking was the best perk.

Pros: convenient downtown location, excellent breakfast
Cons: temperature control in room
Location: Within walking distance of all our favourite Asheville places: Jack of the Wood Tavern, Thirsty Monk, Asheville Pinball Museum, Mela Indian restaurant
We love this hotel and stay in it every single time we go to Asheville. Always a great experience. The room was kind of hot this time around though, not sure if it was being on the upper floor or what, but we had to turn the A/C on even though it was below freezing outside. Otherwise, absolutely great hotel and staff.

Convenient hotel, fan shorted out

Posted 11-Mar-2017
Pros: Convenience, price, comfort
Cons: Fix the fan
Location: An easy walk to downtown where there are lots of restaurants, pubs, and music venues
I have stayed here before. I like the convenience and the no-frills vibe. However, when I tried to turn on the fan it clicked a couple of times but did not start. I smelled something burning, so I turned off the fan control and the smell went away a few minutes later. Sometimes a heater will burn off dust when it is first turned on after a period of inactivity, but this was the end of winter and the fan never started blowing any air. It was late at night so I didn't tell the hotel staff until the next day. They said they would check it.

Close to Asheville activities

Posted 7-Mar-2017
We had a lovely stay and the staff was very friendly and accommodating! My only suggestion would be for them to let folks know that breakfast is available, if it was NOT included in the original reservation! My cousin was there three days before we arrived and had no clue about this! Continental was $6 each and a full, excellent meal was $12! I will return!

Nice hotel in downtown.

Decent location for walking to downtown activities. Well lit parking lot. Great staff. Only complaint is there was a stain on the shower wall and bed comforter. They could pay a little more attention to room cleanliness.

Good, nothing special

Posted 21-Feb-2017
This is a perfectly fine hotel for convenience to attractions, price, and atmosphere. There is nothing fancy or special about the hotel. It's simply a decent place to stay. My only recommendation would be not to use the shampoo, conditioner or body soap provided in the shower. They smell terrible and the odor is quite strong.
