Arkhimandrita Vacation Packages

This holiday was an extra one for us so we didn’t research much about the hotel/surrounding area. We also travelled out of season in April so A La Carte restaurants were closed and the outdoor pool was very cold! Our room was spacious, clean and easy to access on level 1. Took a while each day for house keeping to clean our room (sometimes 5pm) so not always easy to go back to the room to relax in the afternoon if it wasn’t done. Buffet style food everyday, although fresh and nicely presented (especially the salads), did get a bit samey. The walks along the seafront were easy and flat and the bar area by the outdoor pool was kept clean, Natasha one of the bar staff always had a smile for you and very accommodating. Likewise the waiting staff in the restaurant, very friendly and helpful. There was an incident in the outdoor pool and if it wasn’t for a guest member (nurse), there would have been a fatality. No medical equipment (defribulator, oxygen etc) was visible and the lifeguards were not paying attention to the pool, therefore, took ages to respond. The manager Anthony did take the incident seriously and hopefully will now take steps to better train lifeguards and position them for better viewing of the pool (not on the bridge and no mobile phones) It will not stop us from returning or recommending to family and friends. However, we will be highlighting not to rely on other people for safety around any pools.

We had a wonderful time at the Asimina, this has got to be one of the nicest 5-start hotels I have stayed, and I have stayed in my fair share. This hotel is well run with spacious rooms. The views are stunning as the hotel sits on a lovely beach facing the sea and is exceptionally clean. hard-working waiters and staff in the dining room. An excellent selection at breakfast and if you choose evening buffet an overwhelming variety of choice and excellent quality food. Looking forward to getting back to suite118 one fine day, which had its own private pool surrounded by flowers, shrubs and very private. We had a well-appointed spacious room with a large bathroom. But what makes this hotel stand out is the staff, who were all polite and extremely professional. A big thank you to the lovely ladies on the reception. The extremely helpful and kind Anna-Maria, together with the lovely Miruna, Laurentiu and Valentina. Thank you all for the bottle of champagne, we very much appreciated it. Lastly a special thank you to the lovely and cheerful Simona, what an asset she is, always smiling and making us laugh whilst working hard cleaning our rooms, what a sweet lady.

Staff were professional, and friendly. Hotel is very nice too.

Excellent hotel. Staff were all very attentive, food was varied and plentiful. Everything was kept very clean.

Everything about this resort is top notch. From services, food to amenities, this place is great.
