"The exterior was in good shape, but the room was dirty and in serious need of a major upgrade. The desk was designed more to prevent robbery and the clerk had only fair command of English. I shared to room with at least one roach. I paid for two nights but one was enough and I left. The location is only close to I65 and nothing else. I had read that the motel had recently been rehabilitated -- but if so apparently they skipped my room."

"This was a halfway point to our trip to gulf shores Alabama. Was quick and cheap rate on a special deal I got with my credit card. So we arrived late at night so we were ready to just lay down as we had more driving to do in morning. Staff was nice and got us out room quick. Open the room and the room had an odor like old 1980 cigarette filled room. So we got past that and checked rest of room it had basic stuff nothing special. "The building was old and run down. The lobby was under construction so we had to check in from a room in the back entrance. The room/lobby was also where the breakfast was set up which seemed a bit unsanitary. The pictures on the listing were definitely not the property where we stayed. I was very dissatisfied with this stay."
