"I always use the Super 8. It is economical, clean, with a provided breakfast. I would comment that they do not have a gym or pool, but then my needs when traveling are typically a good, clean bed; the fact that rooms are attractively decorated is a plus."

"Overall, nice stay at a good price. The pool hot tub was broken and no towels were stocked. We hadn’t brought down towels. The room was nice, except the bathroom door knob had cut a hole in the wall from opening the door so many times from many people. The room was quiet. I would have brought my own pillow as theirs were really small, square ones. The breakfast was ok, not enough fruit choices or healthy options. Being that the price was right and parking was convenient- I would recommend it despite the imperfections."

"This property was perfect for our weekend getaway. Clean, well stocked, and very cozy. Bonus, it's walking distance to some great restaurants, shops, and parks. The host was very communicative and responded to questions within minutes. All we wanted was a quiet place away from the kids to reconnect, watch TV, and enjoy some us time. This little place exceeded expectations."

"My roommates from college met here for a few days to enjoy a quiet time together to catch up while also touring around the area. This was such a cool property! Such a historic home with so many rooms, bathrooms and beds! Also many places to hang out to talk or just have some quiet time. The patio facing the Illinois River was our very favorite! So serene and so beautiful and wonderful patio furniture! We loved the property and this was easy to check-in and enter the property too. Very close to other great locations, and such a beautiful neighborhood for a walk. We all agreed it would be a great place to stay again!"
