« Nous avons été « déclassé » en arrivant sur le lieu de l’hébergement. Nous avions réservé une chambre vu sur l’eau avec SDB et toilettes et nous avons eu un « cottage » avec les toilettes et la SDB dans d’autres bâtiments. Les propriétaires n’ont rien voulu savoir et n’ont fait aucun geste commercial. Le cottage n’était pas propre. C’est bien dommage car le site est calme, paisible et la vue exceptionnelle. »

« My family and myself we had a great time. Beautiful view down the road of the beach. The little harbour a minute down the road has a great restaurant and gift store. « We had 8 fantastic days. Allen is a perfect host. All our questions or problems were answered immediately. The beaches were great especially our dog loved it. The boats and the SUP were great, we would be happy to come again. »

« Had my bday getaway with friends here it was awesome even in the winter. Says up to 6 guests and we had 5 and it was very crowded, not enoigh dinner table seats for everyone and living room seating was not for us all to sit and watch tv. Other than that it was great thoigh! »

« We had a great stay from August 20-27. We chose this spot as it was close to family in the area and we wanted to be able to base ourselves close to them while also being within an hour or so of a lot of Halifax, Peggy's Cove, etc. The cottage was a great size, with lots of space for our family to relax and spread out. The kitchen was very well-appointed. The outdoor space was just wonderful - we enjoyed a campfire almost every night, and during the day the kids spent hours in the paddleboat...

« Rustic but well appointed old farmhouse on a beautiful property, large enough to explore and even hike to the basin. Everything that you need is provided - literally. The host has all information needed to tour the area at your fingertips, comfortable rooms - with the picture window overlooking the river a favourite. Hard to pry away from that view. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. »

« Was a wonderful stay and we ended up with more family arriving with kids so we were able to sleep lots!! Had everything you need!! Only feedback would be-the gas was cut while we were there which resulted in lots of grass being tracked inside and we spent a lot of time cleaning grass out of the cottage-which is not how you want to spend your vacation/time. »

« This cabin met our needs for a private little spot for the night. It was fully furnished with anything/ everything you need. I was a bit let down that the cabin was part of a compound where there were other cabins that didn’t belong to the host and the area didn’t look like the photos online.. it was super quiet and a bit rustic but if you’re not looking for a five star motel, then it is a fun place to stay. »
