Great little find
"Had a one night stay and was really nice. Room was a good size and had kettle with tea/coffee etc
We ate in the restaurant and food was well cooked and plenty.
The staff were really helpful and they helped my mum who needed a ramp at the front for a wheelchair that they set up for her.
Will visit again when up in the area "
"Friendly staff who process the check in efficiently as we checked in pretty late at night. Great for a night's rest while traveling on the road. Has good food options just beside the inn. "

"The hotel was modern and clean. The staff were friendly and professional. The food was great and reasonably priced. I look forward to staying there again in September this year 2024"
"Although I only stayed here for one night I will definitely be back. It left quite an impression and is just the right side of posh and very reasonable in terms of price per night, with free access to the pool.
We had a twin room on the front of the hotel's main building overlooking the main shopping drag in Carlisle, and although it was a Monday night we expected it to still be slightly noisy, however, we didn't hear a peep the entire night. It was perfectly quiet outside and in the hotel except for a few guests the following morning banging doors which is of no fault of the hotel itself.
The internet was surprisingly quick for it being complimentary - a massive improvement on the internet at premier inn. My only real complaint was that the usb slot to charge items on the bedside table did not work, therefore, I had to plug the item in way across the room at a plug that worked.
This didn't really matter at that time, however, I watch shows and read on my tablet in bed and if it had had a low battery and needed charging I would've been very annoyed that I wouldn't be able to charge it as I lay in bed.
We enjoyed sitting in the lounge downstairs so much that we spent most of the following day there drinking pots of tea from the cafe after checking out and before heading home. Peaceful, clean and ideal location for anyone staying in Carlisle. If you don't mind foregoing modern furnishings then give this hotel a go. It will be my first choice whenever I stay in Carlisle."

"We were at a family wedding and the stay was great. The bathrooms need a bit updating but overall it was a great stay. It was raining on the morning of the wedding but umbrellas were available. The staff were very attentive so overall a great stay"
