"First thing you would notice is that the Inn is a very old establishment. But don't let the age fool you. The entire building inside and out is A+. The bathroom which should in my opinion should be the telltale as to how everything is maintained. Our room was on a 1 to 10 was at the very least a 20! The room rates are affordable, the staff very welcoming. Highly recommended and we will stay here whenever we are in town."

"What a lovely cottage! The hosts has thoughtfully put their personality into the furnishings and decor. Prior to our stay the host sent us a list of places to eat and things to doin the area. This helped us plan our stay. Once we arrived, we found a bouquet of tulips and a bottle of wine for us to enjoy for our anniversary. Wonderful visit!"

"April 2026, the Comfort Inn is open but is undergoing full renovations. This was not mentioned when we made our reservations. If you have allergies you, or low tolerance of, construction dust, choose another location. We had a newly renovated room, which was spotless and very comfortable. The staff were polite and efficient, and breakfast at 6am has always been good. We’ve stayed here multiple times over the last 10+ years. Giving full stars because the renovations will end soon."

"The property was perfectly located to walkable restaurants and local shops! We enjoyed our stay in Brunswick and would highly recommend this home because it is so centrally located for daily trips to LLBean in Freeport,, hiking trails in Harpswell, restaurants in Bailey’s Island and the Wild Oats Bakery in Brunswick to name just a few. The home was very pet friendly and extremely clean. Our host was very responsive and communicated well when needed."
