Room was very dark. Carpet and sofa were dirty. Mildew around the tub inside and out and at the bottom of the shower curtain. Bathroom floor grout needs to be replaced. The exit and room doors were loud all night. Staff was helpful. Wouldn’t stay again.

The room was dirty spiders crawling on the ceilings. Dead bugs and filth on the ground and in the cabinet under the sink in the bathroom. The bottom of the shower curtain was dirty. No trash bags in the trashes The fridge didn’t work we had to get ice from the ice machine to keep our things cold. The conditioner and body wash containers were empty. The breakfast was gross. I’ve never had an experience like this before with a hotel. We travel and stay at a lot of hotels. The gentleman who was working the front desk Saturday night was anything but helpful. When we talked to him about our room all he said was Ok, sorry to hear about that. This morning upon check out Shein at the front desk was way more helpful and gave an email for me to send the pictures too. We will not be staying there again.

The property is located adjacent to the 295 highway. The traffic noise was all night. I was given a sound machine to deal with the noise. Marriott should install soundproof windows. Completely unacceptable.

There was no body wash in the bathroom, it need to be refilled. The pool area was dirty and falling apart. There was no eggs for breakfast only bacon and sausage/ no fruits/ no yogurt/ no cream.I asked staff and they said they had no eggs. I will not be returning to this hotel.

Springhill Suites Freeport is located just 5 to 10 minutes from downtown and from major highways. The hotel is small, but the room was large and spacious. Breakfast was included and there is a small gym and small indoor pool. During breakfast, I noted that they ran out of items and would not restock or had to be asked to do so. They closed the pool during my first day there and it never reopened, which was very disappointing. The gym doesn't have a treadmill (!). Rooms facing the highway are Subject to the very loud highway traffic as the windows are not soundproofed. If you're a light sleeper, ask for a room facing the local street. Staff were wonderful otherwise and the facilities are very clean. Overall, it was a good experience.

Staff was prompt and courteous. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Parking was convenient. Breakfast was good. Our room was on the back of the building and next to the highway which could be noisy at times. The shower water pressure and volume was good, but the spray pattern on the shower head was not great.

We had a room booked for 5 adults after a long day of travel. We arrived to this hotel around 9:30 at night ready to unwind and get to bed. We discovered that our room with sleeping accommodations for 5 was given to someone else, and all that was left was a room for 3. There was no effort in rebooking us at another hotel where there would have been adequate room. We were told they'd look for another mattress and call us back, but we never received a call. We followed up with a manager the next morning who assured us our stay would be compensated, but the manager never reached out to us and hasn't answered multiple emails. Several of our party got no sleep, and our experience was unacceptable. I will not stay at a SpringHill suites again.

The hotel is conveniently located, and the property itself looked clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, our room was not cleaned properly. When we arrived, there was garbage left in the bins, a paper bag beside the couch from the previous guest, and hair on the bed sheets. The washroom, however, was clean. We reported the issue to the front desk, and Zach was extremely helpful and professional. He sincerely apologized and immediately offered us another room. Unfortunately, the second room also had hair and stains on the bed sheets, and the garbage bin had not been emptied. He apologized again and showed us a third room, but it had the same cleanliness issues. Zach truly did everything he could to accommodate us, and we really appreciate his excellent customer service. During our trip, we stayed at six different hotels, and unfortunately, this was the only one where we experienced cleanliness problems. The hotel management should place greater emphasis on housekeeping standards and ensure that rooms are thoroughly cleaned and inspected before guests arrive. Housekeeping staff should also receive proper training to maintain consistent cleanliness. With better housekeeping, this hotel could provide a much better guest experience.

I was initially put in a room that was next to a mechanical room for the pool, it had a very loud hum that made the experience extremely unpleasant. They did move me to a different room the next day, but the promised comped night was not reflected on the bill. I will not stay there again.

It was a very nice place for overnight stay. Very comfortable with enough amenities. Breakfast was nice with enough variety. Room was specious and everything one would need to stay overnight.
