The hotel looks a little tired from the outside but is well maintained and furnished inside. The room was very nice and big. We had a superior suite which had a massive double width bath and separate rooms we. We did find cob webs in the toilet and above the bath. The bed was a big round bed which turned out to be a bit hard and lumpy and when we pulled back the covers, the mattress itself was very heavily stained. The staff are friendly but don’t come across as very professional. They give the impression that they haven’t been in the hotel business very long. The breakfast was good but a little expensive and we had to choose what we wanted the day before which I didn’t like as there is no scope to change your mind. There is a small car park which was fine during our stay but may be be overcrowded when the hotel is full.

"Perfectly clean and great value, my only gripe is that the bed was really hard, no sure if it was because I was in a room that hadn’t been done up yet because we had the dog, had some friends staying there as well and they didn’t have the hard bed."
