"We had a lovely time, so much history. We walked the grounds and couldn’t believe how vast the property was. So many interesting things like miniature horses, mule deer, pheasants and a few chickens. Amazing!!
We were a little disappointed that the pools weren’t open. "
"The whole place is old, and not well-patronised. Lobby is dark and sombre, a bit depressing. Apartment is spacious with nice balcony and cooking facility but looks and smells old. A good place for overnighting, not for anything else probably. Parking is free and ample, could be tricky to find if arriving after dark."
