"We had a very good stay. Kendall was very nice & welcoming. She prepared our delicious breakfast & had a good conversation with her. Everything was great however the place was a little hard to find as there was no visible signage. "

"The beautiful serenity of mountain air and the noises of the woods is totally refreshing. We loved the rustic cabin vibe and the staff was attentive and the breakfasts we had were marvelous! We look forward to a revisit when our schedule allows. Highly recommend this resort for R&R!"

"Our extended family just returned from our annual summer weekend together and this was our first time at Big Canoe. This house is listed as a"cabin" but it is much more like staying in a luxury hotel. It is huge with more than enough space for all 12 of us (seniors to toddlers) and loads of thoughtful details. Fluffy towels, televisions scattered throughout, comfortable beds and the most amazing mountain view. The Beach Club is overloaded with fun with both adults and children. We had a lovely weekend and hope to return. "
"Beautiful property!! Very private, spacious, plenty of seating both inside and out; the kitchen is stocked with everything needed for meal prep and cooking, we loved that each bedroom has its own bathroom, and the hot tub screened porch is fantastic. Thank you to the hosts for a great getaway, we would love to return in the future."
"Loved the layout of the house. It was really comfortable for 6 adults and 5 kids. The house does need a little maintenance though. The pocket door to the bathroom doesn't move and some of the bathroom sinks don't drain properly. We notified the property manager but it wasn't remedied during our stay. Also, the mattresses in 2 of the rooms were very thin and uncomfortable."
"Our stay was amazing. A wonderful get away from everyday life. Was able to see Mother Nature in action. The view was breath taking, and the host was very responsive when we had any questions. The only down fall was the road to the cabin. Very steep, a bit of a struggle if you don't have a some what powerful vehicle. At no fault to the host. Not impossible but difficult. Would of liked to know that before booking, just as a heads up. I would definitely stay again. Thank you"
