« First, the positives. The beds were great and comfortable, the price was cheap and once you got in to the property, it was safe. Second, the negatives. Located right near to the property was a casino, with the sign missing a couple of letters. Sitting outside was about 4 or 5 homeless people. We were approached by a couple of them, but it was not a problem. Once we got in the room, we noticed the only window in the property was small with a dirty screen that was bent and left a small...

« While our initial reaction was surprise as this is a large bedroom in what looks to be a remodeled rooming house in the downtown core, we soon were won over by the clean bright room. « We were really happy with the location. Right around the corner from Cafe Ora (ask them for exact location if you can't find it) and right next to the Casino, which also has a nice restaurant/bar with good food. There are many other places to eat within walking distance, as well as the marina. Right now you can park for free for 2 hours in the waterfront area (in which the property is!). We felt very safe - the security was excellent. Cafe Ora has fabulous coffee and the employees are...

« Check in was fast, easy and contactless. Host was communicative and responsive. Location was excellent for what I needed. However you are right downtown and you can hear everything going on outside on a Friday/Saturday night. Room was sanitary but not clean. Definitely needed a good vacuum, dust and deep clean of the bathroom. Overall, it was not a bad place to stay for a quick budget friendly trip. »
