The location is truly special—being the first house in American Beach made it feel both private and historic, with easy access to the beach and beautiful surroundings.The house itself was well-equipped and comfortable for a full week stay. There was ample space for our family to spread out while still having great common areas to gather together. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfortable, and the overall layout worked very well for a multigenerational group.We especially appreciated the quiet, residential feel of American Beach compared to busier parts of the island, while still being close to everything Amelia Island has to offer. It was an ideal spot for long walks, relaxing mornings, and unwinding after days spent exploring. Note that the beach in front of the house allows cars, but there were never very many during our stay.Overall, this was a great home base for our holiday week, and we would happily recommend it to families looking for a peaceful, well-located place to stay on Amelia Island. We’d stay here again in the future!"
