« Some of the staff were great but overall I found that the staff were not service oriented. We waited a long time for service, help took a long time and the attitude was more of "help yourself" with some exceptions. They were pleasant but not always accommodating. The resort is a bit like a camp on this grand property which was lovely but people were not ready or prepared at every station of service; overwhelmed perhaps but not sure why as places were not always full. « One of the cleanest hotels that we have stayed with in a long time. Staff was above and beyond friendly as well as being professional. Breakfast was amazing. [Cook and server was astounding and meals were more than anyone could imagine] We would go back tomorrow if we had the time. How does one get points for future visits with Holiday express. « For a premier location and price this Hampton was a huge disappointment. Room was old, worn out, sink and tub did not drain well, kitchen area was old, dishwasher was falling out of the cabinet, and hallways looked like something out of the ‘80s. I’ve stayed in dozens and dozens of Hampton Inns over my work career, but this place ranks as the worst. Location is amazing on Centre Street where all the action is, but take my advice and find another hotel or inn. »
