"Spectacular place with all facilities. Very hard to find if you are a tourist. Steep tortuous roads. Old fashioned vibe with decor, but room and service and facilities good."

"Fantastic holiday, wonderful cocktails, lovely sunsets, delicious food and everything was included in the all inclusive package (cocktails, fine dining restaurant, Asian restaurant, Italian, agreco farm dine out option which we unfortunately didn’t have time for, crepes and waffles, ice creams). Nice and quiet, calm, relaxing holiday. Staff very friendly and helpful too! Make sure to book restaurants on the app before you arrive (or WhatsApp the concierge was a unique perk) , and unfortunately we went out of peak season so no white parties etc but the bar was still lively and nice music every evening "

"Very nice property, but only a few maintenance related items. The first night my tv did not work. A cable was changed but this should be check as part of room readiness. Also, my phone did not work and the AC condensate drips continually when it is on so the living room floor pools with water. I reported all 2@4 items for correction."

"Beautiful hotel located midway between Heraklion and Chania. Loved the beach and restaurant. Our room was amazing with our own pool and fireplace in our private outdoor area. Staff couldn't have been nicer. Loved Rethymno's old town which was a short cab drive away. Would highly recommend this hotel."

"We had a wonderful stay at Marine Palace, it was easily accessible and we had a 5 month old plus pram in tow, pool selection was great and the food was excellent, lovely choice and highlight was the BBQ by the Sea! Staff were all very helpful and bonus of a WhatsApp number to message if had any problems, the rooms and all outside areas were kept to a very high standard of cleanliness, very impressed.
The village of Panormos was only a 7-8 minute walk away, very small but lovely village with bars, restaurants and a few gift shops.
Would definitely return!!!"

"Peaceful and gorgeous nature at its best. This was was my first time in Greece and this property will have me coming back for years. The property and beach are gorgeous. Everything is well maintained. The bubgalow room was spacious for two people. We didnt do the all inclusive but ate on the property a few times. Breakfast wasnt good but the Taverna had good and reasonably priced options. Kostas at the front desk was Amazing. He helped arrange rides, offered great suggestions and was super accommodating. I felt he wanted us to have a good trip. Loved the location . Walkable area with great food options and shops, super close to town and there is a bus stop right out front. You could stay on the property and have a great vacation or go out and explore. I can't wait to come back!"

"My wife and I had our honeymoon at Eliros Mare. It was our first time in Greece and we really enjoyed our time. We chose to go with the all inclusive option and the room with a private pool for our stay. The only negative about our experience was that it was not a true all inclusive experience. A large portion of drinks, menu items and room service came at an extra charge. Entertainment staff were kind and made our time during the day enjoyable with beach volleyball and other pool/beach activities. Food service at breakfast, lunch and dinner was okay as the servers would rush to take your initial drink order but wouldn’t return unless they were waived down or at your table to clear plates. We enjoyed our room as it was spacious and had the private pool which was nice to have. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and would return to Eliros but would rethink the all inclusive option and most likely opt for a regular room without a private pool as we don’t believe it was utilized enough for the extra cost.
