"Nice, clean, well kept cabin right on the bay in a no wake zone. I sat on the swing and watched a boat show every afternoon. Lots of nice seating and shade. You can see Gilligan's and Lakeside Cantina on each side of the bridge right from the yard. Lake was very thick with algae but we caught Pike, Walleye, Crappie and Large Mouth Bass (along the coastline near the waterski show place). It's a shallow lake and we were there end of July so maybe that's a higher time for algae but it was a lot. We...

"Great property clean, nice amenities provided in the house, great setting on the lake. My only negative was the dock had been removed before our stay for winter and we missed having a dock for our boat. You would need to check with the property managers to make sure dock is there to use if staying at the property later in year. We stayed first week in October. They were very quick to answer any concerns would stay again at the property."

"This location on Balsam Lake was great. The host was very good at communication. Cabin is right in the lake. Has a nice dock for a boat. And this Cabin is 5 minutes from downtown Balsam that has great bars, restaurants and a newer brewery. My wife and twin 13 year old kids had a great time. The cabin is well equipped with dishes and cooking utensils. We will stay again!"

"This is an amazing home. For us the location is ideal. We found enjoyable things to do in four nearby towns. We had a large extended family gathering to celebrate several anniversaries and birthdays. Florida, Minnesota, Wisconsin and North Dakota were all represented. "The cabin is spacious and well appointed, having every thing we needed or wanted from kitchen items, to extra blankets, to kayaks. Six women had a lovely stay, kayaking, reading, knitting, and exploring the area. The lake is right out the back door, perfect for kayaking several times every day.
