The lake, dock and boating supplies were perfect. I would recommend bringing your own lifejackets and fishing supplies to make water recreation even better. It has the perfect cabin charm, very clean and the screen porch was SO nice. The fire pit right outside was perfect and the trek down to the lake was easy. We enjoyed having our dogs with us - and everyone felt right at home. There are lots of books and games and extra throw blankets for chilly nights on the porch. There are many “welcome info” books in the cabin, which were helpful for knowing where to go for groceries, restaurants, etc. We rented a pontoon and enjoyed fishing from that and the dock. The pontoon was a bit old and slow, but it did the job. We used the kayaks, taught the dog to swim and gifted the lake a nice pair of sunglasses. 😆 Kids loved the swim raft. Lake was clean and nice for swimming - lots of boaters and people enjoying the lake. ##### Erin R. The well appointed cabin is very private and secluded, on a gorgeous stretch of Big Blake Lake. We rented the pontoon for all three days of our stay and the process was super slick.
