My experience at the Daxton was truly pleasant. What stood out the most was the friendliness of the staff; everyone, from the valet to the room service, was polite and incredibly helpful. We visited during the Fourth of July and thoroughly enjoyed the surrounding environment. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

It’s a very nice building. Room is big and bed is comfortable. I found it weird that there is no shower curtain in the bathroom.
The front desk person is amazing. Didn’t get her name, but I checked in on 7/9. Super personable. I needed ice and she found a bag in the freezer. You can buy an ice maker from Amazon for under $70. The owners should invest in that. Ice is important in this weather. The street is nice. The neighborhood is mid. Kinda dicey and I live in LA…. Not a lot of choices for food or bars nearby but I came because of the Institute of Arts. It’s just down the block.

"Very clean and quiet hotel. I'd say, it is one of the quieter ones that I've been to. Very clean rooms. The shower is very nice with the extra heads that can hit your back while the one overhead is simultaneously on. Dinner was great. I enjoyed the Prime Rib, a drink and dessert.
