Sheraton Pentagon City Hotel

"The customer facing staff were wonderful - especially the shuttle bus drivers to the airport and mall. However, this is an old property that is not being maintained super well. We found bugs in our first room (in the small East Tower) and had to be moved to another room in the main tower. Thankfully, the new room was in better shape. The shuttle bus was also having mechanical issues… the driver had been trying to report the issues but he was ignored until we had to speak with management on his behalf. Overall, the staff were great but not sure that we would stay again."

"This is a beautiful hotel; however, we had 5 adults and though it said it could accommodate us in one room, it is better suited for individuals, couples, or small families. We appreciated the location and shuttle to the airport--the reason we chose it! The 2-room description was a little confusing because we thought it was 2 bedrooms. It was not--2 people had to sleep on the couch sofa, and one on a rollaway -- and we only had one bathroom. We probably would've chosen a different hotel had we known that, but definitely would stay with fewer people."

"Check in was easy, front desk staff very pleasant and the room (small suite) was spacious and I really liked the walk in shower. Vouchers were provided towards the dining room - and the breakfast buffet was a good variety of hot and cold items. Severs/staff in the restaurant were also pleasant. One area that needs improvement is the airport shuttle. The hotel should tell guests flying into Reagan exactly where to meet the driver (what door). I had to call the hotel for this information - when the driver arrived he drove right past the designated stop - I had to make another call to the hotel to tell the front desk this - only to be told they would call the driver - when the hotel called me back I was told the driver was waiting several doors down at another door. The shuttle driver was pleasant and helpful. The hotel is nicely located and all in all I had a good stay. A pool would be a major PLUS!"

"Good neighborhood with restaurants nearby, but it's too far to walk to any metro station. The room had not been cleaned before we arrived late at night. However, customer service was able to get us moved to a new rom quickly. There are signs that some maintenance works needs to be done. For example, the security latch on the frame of the door was barely attached and could not serve as a security latch. The room was otherwise in working order. The laundry facilities worked quite well and didn't cost anything, in spite of it display saying that it needed quarters. Overall, it was a decent place to stay."
