"Lovely staff, went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and looked after. The location was lovely, away from the main towns of Oia and Thira, but beautiful sunset and very quiet. "Apanemo hotel is absolutely fantastic and we intend to return for another stay. The hotel's staff are genuinely friendly and nothing is too much trouble - they really add to your stay here (thank you Alexandra, Yota, Isabelle, Nick, Angelos, Spiros and Lucas!). We were made to feel at home immediately on arrival and provided with a welcome drink and informative chat on services and things to see and do (which the staff will happily arrange for you). Located in a quiet part of Santorini but with easy access to the rest of the island (the hotel offered very convenient transfer services also - including a free drop-off/pick up in the local village), it's a beautiful place and Apanemo has a very laid-back/relaxed feel. The nearby village of Akrotiri is very nice, and whilst small, it has all the necessaries (restaurants, Taverna, convenience stores etc). Our room was beautiful and the balcony had the most amazing view over the bay and volcano and the rest of the West coast of the island. The restaurant (also with beautiful views) offers lovely food and the breakfast is fantastic. If you're thinking of going to Santorini, this is the place to stay."
