"We had such enjoyed amazing good reasonable price! But little noisy by road and no hot or warm water but Inside room and hotel actually pretty good condition and cleaned hard floor. Air conditioner very good no smell. People very nice too. I recommend! Front beach and pool. But photo didn’t match at all. First not sand beach and pool with beach chairs area very small. But not big deal still we enjoyed. Thanks all. We want be there again. We took bust from Athens such conveniences. "

"Wonderful little property in a cute peaceful true Greek town right on the bay. Owners of hotel Galaxidi were warm and welcoming. Room was clean with air, a precious balcony overlooking town and a homemade breakfast to die for at a price that was hard to beat. They even gave us a jar of homemade jam as a parting gift. And there was parking right out front. Fantastic dining at Steki’s on the water and a delightful walk around town. It was the true feeling of Greece. "

Everything was fine except that doors/ locks are noisy when you close/ open the doors, and the isolation between rooms are bad (like most hotels). Since it was low season with few guest, the noise mentioned above was no problem for us at night. Evening was very quiet."

"Great boutique hotel directly across the road from the beach. Walking distance to everything you need including cafes and dining options and local shopping. Private parking available which was very handy. Rooms are neat and efficient but had everything we requried or a 2 night stay. The hotel staff were great and breakfast is so peaceful sitting in the outdoor courtyard each morning. Will stay again on our next trip to Xylokastro."

"This property was stunning, from the location to the rooms. I stayed in late April so there wasn't many tourist and it was so nice and quiet, you could really enjoy the sound of nature. When I booked the trip I had no idea where to go in Greece, was just looking for somewhere to relax and spend time together. "Before the motorway bypassed this town I suspect this was 'THE" place to stay! Since then, like so many Greek hotels affected by the motorway development this one has seen better days. "We really enjoyed our short stay. Michael and his mother were incredibly kind and hospitable. The home was right on the beach. Our first morning we purposefully woke up before sunrise so we could take out hot tea and coffee out to the ocean side chairs and watch it rise above the mountains and reflect on the water. Gorgeous!
