"Despite a day and a half of constant rain we had a very good four-day stay. The location can’t be beat: the house has beautiful views of Chesterman Beach, with good seating areas inside and out to take advantage of the vista. The house is quiet and feels very private, nestled among the trees. The kitchen is fully-equipped (better than many other places we’ve stayed). The bed was comfortable. Short drive to Tofino but can also walk across the street for evening drinks at either the distillery or brewery. Short walk to the Tonquin Park trailhead or to the Shelter for dinner. "This home is just amazing! We loved how it was laid out and all the natural light, and of course the spectacular views!! Views from nearly every room, even the kitchen. A pleasure to stand there and prepare the food! Tons of space for moving around and putting things. So much space we didn't know what to do with it all. (3 adults). My mom could even move around with her walker. I like that it isn't open plan so if some people want to sleep in they are not disturbed by those who get up early....

"My family and I had a very peaceful stay at the Blue Heron house this May long weekend. The house was very spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. Our host Kelly responded quickly to messages and was very accommodating, she even let us know that the cleaning crew was finished early, so we could check in a little early. The hot tub was great, but I think the outdoor shower was one of favorite perks. We would definitely stay again and recommend to friends."

"This was a great place to stay to explore Tofino. It’s within easy walking distance of downtown and right across from the water. The coffee shop right at the bottom of the drive is also excellent. Just a note- if you have any mobility issues, due to the large driveway incline and lots of stair, this might not be for you. That being said, I cannot recommend Hill House and Tofino enough."
