"Good stop on the drive to New Mexico. Room could use some updating as it has some frayed edges, but the staff were fantastic and the breakfast option miles ahead of most hotel breakfast. Lovely back patio off the breakfast room offers a little shot of nature. Enjoyed the wall with local history. This location obviously works to be better than the norm when it comes to chain hotels and it was appreciated. Abundant parking both in front and behind the building."

"Stayed just for one night on my way to Santa Fe. Arrived late and exterior doors on far end of buildings were not locked. No place to walk my dog where there wasn't some type of broken glass pieces. Room was decent except for food crumbs on floor...my dog enjoyed. The staff I interacted with were great, I just think they are understaffed. The area felt safe enough. "

"The management is shifting currently, but it is definitely off to a great start! The property is beautiful with glorious woodwork and original light fixtures throughout. Clawfoot tubs and the most luxurious towels will have your muscles wobbling after a great evening purusing main street. The host is charming amd efficient as she works to shuffle and prep the place she so obviously loves. The breakfast (quiche, fruit, muffins, and mimosas!) Was excellent and the company so good that we lingered more than an hour! It was an absolutely wonderful stay and i cannot wait to visit again and see what she does with this impressive property!"
