They then agreed and said they would negotiate with Expedia. Ultimately, the hotel apologized as it was an issue between them and Expedia, not my concern. The matter was resolved amicably, but it was an unfortunate incident on the first day of my stay, as it was very upsetting. Otherwise, everything was fine; I slept comfortably, and the hotel was quite clean."
